The Department of Health, HSE and the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) under a Framework of Engagement have reached agreement on a range of measures, including but not limited to, fees, allowances and development funds, service expansion and access, administrative burden and reform, and digitalisation and ICT. It sets out a comprehensive and ongoing pathway to modernise and expand the role of community pharmacy in Ireland’s healthcare system.
