DSGBV strategy
Zero Tolerance - Third National Strategy on DSGBV.
The central aim of the current strategy is Zero Tolerance of DSGBV in Irish society. It is structured around four pillars; prevention, protection, protection, prosecution and policy coordination
The HSE implements actions within the strategy under the protection pillar focusing on;
- Ensuring staff have access to DSGBV information.
- Ensuring staff are trained to appropriately support DSGBV victims and survivors.
- Support FGM victims to access appropriate healthcare services.
- Support marginalised women to access appropriate healthcare services.
