Launch of NOSP Annual Report for 2020

Today, 3rd September, the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention (NOSP) published its Annual Report for 2020. This report details activities for the office during 2020 and outlines key updates relating to Connecting for Life, Ireland’s National Strategy to Reduce Suicide.

This report will be of relevance to anyone with an interest in, or who works in mental health promotion and suicide prevention. It will also be of interest to the wide variety of health and government stakeholders involved in the Connecting for Life strategy, and mental health and suicide prevention NGO representatives.

The NOSP Annual Report for 2020 was officially launched online by Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People, Mary Butler TD. Speakers at the event included Dr Stephanie O’Keeffe (HSE National Director, Integrated Operations - Planning), John Meehan (Head of HSE NOSP), Sarah Woods, Brid Casey (HSE NOSP) and Siobhán McBrearty (HSE Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention).
