World's First National Healthcare Wikipedian-in-Residence

National Doctors Training and Planning (NDTP) and the HSE National Health Library and Knowledge Service launch ‘National Healthcare Wikipedian in Residence’ post on International Women’s Day Hackathon in RCSI!

The HSE National Health Library and Knowledge Service (NHLKS) are delighted to announce a joint partnership with the National Doctors Training & Planning Unit (NDTP).  This partnership will introduce an innovative initiative involving the first ever Healthcare wikipedian-in-residence programme.

The Healthcare Wikipedian-in-residence will take up temporary residence in a HSE or health science library with the task of updating key healthcare topics on the global knowledge platform Wikipedia. The Wikipedian will select topics together with clinicians, librarians and other health and social care professionals in the Hospital that are relevant to the critical areas of care in that care environment.
