Ethics in Public Office - Statement of Interests

The HSE is comprehended by the Ethics in Public Office Act 1995 & Standards in Public Office Act 2001. It is HSE policy to ensure all relevant employees are informed of their obligations under the legislation.

All employees in the HSE remunerated at or above the minimum point of the Grade VIII salary scale (ie minimum salary scale of €68,310 01/09/2019 and €69,676.00 Grade VIII as at 01/10/2020) in employment during 2020, must comply with the Ethics in Public Office Legislation.

The Standards Commission must be informed of all new appointees to senior office and designated Directorships which are also covered by the Acts.
