Mental Health Services in Dublin South City

Dublin South City Mental Health Service provides a comprehensive range of community based mental health services. The mental health team consists of many disciplines including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.

Access to Mental Health Services
The General Practitioner is the first point of contact for accessing mental health services. Problems such as depression or anxiety may well be treated by their GP and may not need to be referred to the mental health team. In other cases, the GP may decide to refer a person to the mental health team for specialist care. In an emergency situation, when a GP is not available, access to the Mental Health Services is provided through the Accident & Emergency Department at your local hospital.
