In 2024 and 2025, the Centre for Effective Services (CES) conducted an evaluation of the implementation and intermediate outcomes of Connecting for Life, Ireland's National Strategy to Reduce Suicide. This was a mixed-methods evaluation to inform the future direction, development and resourcing of suicide prevention policies and activities – and in particular to support the development of Ireland's next strategy to reduce suicide.
