Planning and Performance

The Planning and Performance Office leads on hospital services planning and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Service Planning and developments- National Service Plan  and Divisional Operational Plan
  • Performance monitoring 
  • Performance reporting

Performance is measured and reported, on a monthly basis in the National Performance Reports.

The Hospital Group Chief Executives report to the National Director for Acute Services and are accountable for their planning and performance under the HSE Accountability Framework.
