Ward profile

During treatment procedures lunch and refreshments are served throughout the day. Newspapers and TV are provided for patient’s use. Also patients can snooze during treatment if they so wish. Reflexology is also part of the holistic care provided, and this can be arranged by appointment.

Patients attending for chemotherapy receive a comprehensive education programme prior to starting their treatment regimen. This ensures that everyone is fully informed about their disease and their drug treatment schedule prior to starting.

All patients are invited to bring a partner, family member or friend with them as they receive their education programme for treatment.

The ward staff are active participants in various hospital committees concerned with the development of services in the hospital.
