The HSE has advised that the MMR Vaccine is the only protection against measles.
The Show season in the South East has seen prize winning entries emanate from the activities programme delivered by HSE staff in a residential mental health care centre in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Due to a rise in measles cases in Ireland, the UK and continental Europe, the HSE are running Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) catch-up clinics this summer, including in Cashel (on 7 of August) and Carrick on Suir (on 9 of August) for five year olds to 46 year olds.
