NoWDOC is moving premises in Carrick-on-Shannon to the Carrick-on-Shannon Primary and Mental Health Care Centre.
Currently the GP Out of Hours service in South Leitrim is delivered from Inver Gael, Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
However from 6pm on Tuesday, September 12th 2023 the service will be providing urgent GP service to patients across South Leitrim from its new location at the Carrick-on-Shannon Primary and Mental Health Care Centre, Townparks, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim, N41 E3C9
The Primary and Mental Health Care Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon has been operational since May 2021 and offers Public Health Nursing, Physiotherapy (Adult and Children), Orthoptic Service, Ophthalmic, Antenatal/Gynaecology clinics, Cardiac Diagnostics, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Dental services, Speech and Language Therapy, Podiatry, Psychology, Community Medicine, Paediatric Consultant clinic, Smoking Cessation, Civil Marriage Ceremonies, Addiction Services, Social Prescribing, Psychiatry of Older Adults, Orthotics and Prosthetics clinic, Breastfeeding Peer support group, and Mental Health services.
Mandy Doyle, Head of Service Primary Care, CH CDLMS said “The new premises will provide a better experience for both staff and service users. We would remind people to please phone NoWDOC for an appointment before coming to the centre.”

Monday to Thursday- 6pm to 8am.
