COVID Tracker is a free and easy-to-use mobile phone app that can:

  • alert you if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus
  • advise you on what to do to protect yourself and others
  • alert other app users that you were in close contact with, if you test positive for coronavirus

Data Protection Impact Assessment

A DPIA is an important document that clearly and transparently defines what data the app uses and how it protects that data in full compliance with GDPR. The DPIA for the Covid Tracker app has been finalised on the basis of feedback from the Attorney General’s Office and from the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Download the DPIA

Source code
