The National Policy Priority Programmes

The Healthy Ireland Framework mandated the establishment of multi-disciplinary national teams to lead and take responsibility for co-ordinating a coherent and comprehensive health service response to reducing the burden of chronic diseases.  In response, a number of national priority programmes have been established to improve the health and wellbeing of the population and include;

Healthy Childhood

Healthy Eating and Active Living

Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy

Staff Health and Wellbeing

Tobacco Free Ireland
