Making Every Contact Count Client Record - Maternity Services

The Making Every Contact Count Client Record Maternity Services has been developed for healthcare professionals to use as part of the implementation of the Making Every Contact Count programme in Maternity Services.

It is a paper-based version of the MECC client record which is integrated into the Maternal & Newborn Clinical Management System ( MN-CMS) in Maternity Services.

How to Promote Making Every Contact Count (MECC) in a Healthcare Setting – Communications Guide

A new communications resource and planning document has been developed by the MECC team in consultation with MECC stakeholders to support the ongoing implementation of the MECC programme. Effective communication is a major part of the successful implementation of MECC and this document aims to support and provide guidance in relation to planning local communication activity to staff leading out on specific MECC site roll outs. It contains information about developing a targeted  communication approach, communications planning and checklist, MECC resources and the MECC implementation process.
