It is estimated that one in four of us will experience some mental health problems in our lifetime. This could range from a low period, to more serious expression, and then a small number will experience severe mental health problems. If you feel persistently sad, have trouble sleeping or experience unexplained aches and pains, you should visit your GP for some advice.
Anyone who requires any treatment will usually receive it from the GP alone, unless more support, for example, therapy services are required. All referrals to Louth Meath Mental Health Services must be done via referral from GP.
