In 2022 the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention (NOSP) selected Cruinn Advisory to undertake an evaluation of Turn2Me.
The primary purpose of this evaluation was to review Turn2Me’s service model and organisational governance. In doing so, Cruinn Advisory assessed the outcomes and impacts of Turn2Me’s service model and reviewed its current organisational structure and governance arrangements to ensure they are fit-for-purpose. To this end, a series of recommendations steered by findings and based on robust assessment and rigorous analysis of all available datasets (secondary and primary) will inform future directions of the service.
On completion of the evaluation, the Board of Turn2Me said:
"We welcome the publication of the Cruinn Advisory evaluation into Turn2Me and are delighted that its findings accurately reflect on how well our organisation is run - in terms of services offered, user experience, governance, financial control, marketing, communications and fundraising efforts. At the time of the evaluation, we were one of just 97 charities in Ireland awarded Charities Institute Ireland’s Triple Lock status for excellence in governance and financial control, a status we retain."
"As we continuously look for ways to improve, we endeavour to implement the recommendations from the evaluation, which we are most grateful for, and move forward in our exciting stage of unprecedented growth, whilst maintaining our priorities on delivering accessible, professional mental health services to everyone on the island of Ireland. We wish to express our continued gratitude to all funders and donors who enable these vital services to continue."
