What is a Local Mental Health Programme?
Local Mental Health Programmes are a series of planned events for people with particular mental health difficulties. They often involve regular meetings, held once a week for several weeks, in a group setting.
How can they help me?
They usually allow you to meet up with a group of people in the same situation and work on a specific programme that deals with a particular difficulty you have in common.
Your Local Mental Health Team offers a selection of the following Programmes:
- Anxiety Management
- Out and About
- Healthy Living Group
- Stress management
