Update to HSE National Clinical Guideline

 The NCCP has published an update the HSE National Clinical Guideline: Treatment of patients with breast cancer (radiation oncology).

 This National Clinical Guideline was developed through the integration of the best research evidence with clinical expertise, patient values and experience. It provides clinical recommendations on the treatment of patients with breast cancer with radiotherapy. Six new recommendations across three new clinical questions have been added to the guideline in this update.

The guideline was developed by a multi-disciplinary guideline development group chaired by Prof. Frances Duane (St. Lukes Radiation Oncology Network) and Dr Eve O’Toole (NCCP).
