International Men's Health Week (MHW) 2022 runs from Monday 13th until Sunday 19th June, concluding on Father’s Day 2022.
Men's Health Week magnifies the importance of the health and wellness of boys and men. The campaign aims to give everyone – health professionals, service providers, sporting bodies, community groups, employers, policy makers, the media, churches, individuals – an opportunity to encourage men and boys to take better care of their health and to seek help or treatment at an early stage.
The theme for this week’s MHW is 'MISSION: isPOSSIBLE' and the call to action is: 'The Action Starts with You'.
The goals of Men's Health Week 2022 are to:
- Heighten awareness of preventable health problems for males of all ages.
- Support men and boys to engage in healthier lifestyle choices / activities.
- Encourage the early detection and treatment of health difficulties in males.
