    New COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Carlow and HSE’s mobile COVID-19 booster vaccination clinic to visit SETU campus, Carlow

    From tomorrow Saturday 28th of January, the HSE/South East Community Healthcare will be operating a COVID-19 primary and booster vaccination clinic at St. Dympnna’s Hospital in Carlow (Eircode R93 X7TV).

    HSE offers COVID-19 bivalent booster to people aged 12-64 at high risk of serious illness

    From today (Tuesday, 24th January 2023), the HSE will be contacting people aged 12 to 64 years with a condition that puts them at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19 to offer them a third COVID-19 booster dose if the second booster they received was not a bivalent vaccine.

    HSE response to Mental Health Commission interim report on CAMHS

    The HSE received the interim report of the Inspector of Mental Health Services into the provision of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the State in early January. We had received a draft in late 2022 and at that time took the actions necessary to address issues raised in relation to individual service users.

    The HSE has today published the latest Winter Infections Epidemiology Report. The attached report details the levels of respiratory infections circulating in the community and the number of people hospitalised with viruses such as COVID-19, influenza and RSV.

    HSE reminding parents Children’s Free Nasal Flu Vaccine are available at walk-in clinics across the country

    Today, (Thursday, 19th January) the HSE is reminding parents that their children can avail of the free nasal flu vaccine at some walk-in clinics across the country up until this Sunday, 22nd January. The HSE is encouraging parents to avail of this opportunity to vaccinate their children against flu, as flu continues to spread and is likely to continue circulating further for a number of weeks.
