Getting the flu vaccine is the best way to help protect yourself and patients in healthcare settings from getting the flu.

This flu season presents a real challenge to our health services that are already under pressure as a result of COVID -19. We have seen enormous efforts from staff this year to control the spread of COVID-19 in healthcare settings and in the community. Healthcare workers across the country worked tirelessly, made huge sacrifices and continue to do so as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Getting the Flu Vaccine is a simple way for us to help control the spread of flu in healthcare settings and in the community.

The flu vaccine is available free of charge to healthcare workers and carers, to protect you and to prevent the spread of flu to the vulnerable people you care for.  You can get your Vaccine from your local flu clinic, your local GP or your local pharmacy. See below for more information on how to get the vaccine and get your flu certificate.

Simply click here and select your county to book your Flu Vaccine clinic appointment. When you get your vaccine, your flu certificate will be emailed to you. If your area of the health service is using a booking system other than swiftqueue you will be notified locally of where and when you can get your vaccine. The most important thing is that you get the vaccine to protect yourself and protect others.
