LGBT Helpline

The LGBT Helpline  is a non-judgmental and confidential service. It provides listening, support and information for LGBTI+ people and their family and friends. They also provide support for those questioning if they might be LGBTI+. In addition, they promote instant support messaging and peer support groups around the country.

BeLonGTo

BeLonGTo Youth Services has a variety of supports and information for young LGBTI+ people and their parents.

Supporting the Mental Health of LGBTQ+ Young People with Jigsaw - Belong To - LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland training is in partnership with Jigsaw. This training Programme  provides participants with a greater understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and raises awareness about the specific challenges facing this cohort, including discrimination, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. The training is for adults who work or volunteer with young people in their community, and organisations and agencies that provide youth services. This training consists of an online self-directed course, followed by a facilitated 3-hour online training session.

Working with Pieta, Belongto are providing a free crisis counselling service for LGBTQ+ young people aged 14-23 who are self-harming or thinking of suicide.
