National Sharing Day 30th September 2022

The theme of the conference was “Supporting people to live lives of their choosing” and with the Assisted Decision Making Act about to commence in 2023, focused on Disabled people’s experiences and challenges they have encountered when being supported to:

  1. Manage their money
  2. Make decisions about their health
  3. Decide where they would like to live

The webinar included a message from Minister Ann Rabbitte and a keynote address from the Independent Living Movement Ireland (ILMI). Each presentation is also accompanied by an ISL interpreter.
