NCP objectives
A multidisciplinary working group helps the programme achieve its objectives.
This group includes:
- consultant interventional radiologists
- radiographers
- nurses
- healthcare professionals from related areas- such as surgery, trauma, anaesthesia or obstetrics
The priorities of the NCP for IR are:
- to find and address gaps and variations in the delivery of scheduled and emergency IR
- to create a care model for IR based on clinical needs
