The National Clinical Programme for Radiology is working with the Acute Hospitals Division to develop a tool named the Irish Radiology Information System (IRIS) to collate radiology data from the National Integrated Medical Imaging System (NIMIS) and other radiology systems.  The data collated will include the following:

1. Activity Levels

2. Waiting Times

3. Demand / Capacity

Once collated, this data will help guide service providers in providing equitable and efficient services.
