The Public Analyst's Laboratory is on the right-hand side of the Sir Patrick Dun's building, which is opposite the Treasury Building on Lower Grand Canal Street (R815).
There is a DART station (Grand Canal Dock) in Barrow Street, a short distance from the laboratory. There is also a station (DART and commuter) at Pearse Street which is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the laboratory. Several bus routes pass along Mount Street which is parallel to Lower Grand Canal Street and a short walk from the laboratory.
Car parking
Car parking spaces within the grounds of the building are very limited. The HSE car parking area is on the left-hand side of the main gate. That on the right-hand side is private. There is a strict clamping regime in place for both the HSE and private parking areas. At varying times a small number of car parking spaces may become available for short-term use. Please seek advice from our Reception staff.
On-street metered parking is also available.
