The Quality and Safety Department supports risk management, quality, safety and patient advocacy activities throughout the hospital. As a resource for staff we aim to promote continual improvement in decision making and shared learning. We do this through:
- Promoting the reporting of incidents so that lessons can be learned and shared with others
- Analysing incidents and identifying trends
- Promoting quality improvement initiatives and excellence reporting
