Strategic Workforce Planning & Intelligence Unit formerly workplace analytics and informatics was established in 2017 following the publication of the National Strategic Framework for Health and Social Care Workforce Planning “Working Together for Health”, DOH 2017.
About us: Workforce Planning is a key priority for the Irish Health Services, People Strategy (2015-2018) guides the teams work; “Engage, develop and value our workforce to deliver the best possible care and services to the people who depend on them”,
The Unit is tasked with ensuring high quality data intelligence and the operationalisation National Strategic Framework for Health and Social Care Workforce Planning “Working Together for Health”, DOH 2017.
It is headed by Dr Philippa Ryan Withero, Assistant National Director and is based on two sites in Dr Steeven’s Hospital, Dublin and Millennium park in Naas, Kildare.
