Advice & Guidance

We provide communications advice and guidance to all our HSE colleagues. We have a large team of experienced communications professionals that are available to advise and guide your communication project. We also have a series of helpful templates and SOPs available that cover a variety of communication scenarios.


The Digital team in the Communications Divisions is responsible for delivering the online user experience for the Health Service. We work across the areas of user experience, content, social media, analytics and digital marketing.

Programmes & Campaigns

The Programmes and Campaigns team use evidence and insights to create campaigns that help people to navigate the health service and improve their health and wellbeing.

Internal Communications

The Internal Communications team manages communication between staff, management and senior leaders. We can support you with staff projects and campaigns, communicating in a clear, timely and relevant way best practices for ethical, inclusive and accessible communication

News & Media 

The press and media team primarily focuses on news events happening daily in the health services and provides trusted and accurate information to the media. We can support you with highlighting services available to the public, broadcasting important public health messages and sharing the inspiring work carried out by staff across the country every day. 

How it works

We are committed to helping you with your communication project in any way we can. 

  1.      You submit a request support form
  2.      We will put you in touch with a national rep to support you
  3.      The national rep will scope out the project with you and help to assess your needs
  4.      Based on your requirements, the national rep will bring in team members from other departments to support your project

If you are a client director or national rep and need to request advice or resources from other national departments please fill in one of the below forms. Complete this form in consultation with your client. These requests will be reviewed and discussed at the next Comms Support Meeting.
