Mental Health Division - Strategic Portfolio and Programme Management Office
The Mental Health Division (MHD) of the HSE has been working in partnership with the Centre for Effective Services (CES) since 2015 to progress the implementation of change and wider health service reform in line with government policy. CES works with many government agencies both North and South to assist service designers, commissioners and planners use evidence in designing and implementing their services. Visit CES website
This partnership has resulted in the co-establishment of a Strategic Portfolio and Programme Management Office (SPPMO) within the Planning Performance and Programme Management function of the MHD. The SPPMO team which has been located on-site with the MHD in the HSE Cherry Orchard Campus is made up of multidisciplinary professionals employed by both CES and the HSE.
How can we assist you?
The SPPMO will partner with key stakeholders from Mental Health Services and work with them to deliver change in a structured way.
We use project management methodologies and governance structures developed to achieve successful implementation for projects. We provide tools, mentoring and the guidance necessary to progress projects from concept to implementation.
