Communications and media

The Communications Office for the Dublin Midlands Hospital Group provides a variety internal and external communications required for the Hospital Group and its constituent hospitals.

Range of Services

Supporting internal staff communications
Media Relations – ensuring all media queries are answered promptly and accurately, reflecting existing communications policy, objectives, work and initiatives
Arranging appropriate media interviews for staff, and providing preparation and briefing support to interviewees
Managing communications in the event of a crisis / serious incidents
Editing and producing internal newsletters for staff – edit and produce information leaflets, booklets, posters and other information / corporate literature and publications
Providing communications support and content for the HSE website
Advising and supporting development of Group Digital Media Strategy
Providing communications training to HSE staff
Video production and content generation for new media channels
Organizing press launches/conferences, photocalls.
Provide out of hours media cover for emergency / critical matters.
Proactively sourcing and promoting service developments, new health initiatives etc
Monitor print, broadcast and social media and respond/action as appropriate
Provide a support/advisory/consultancy service to HSE staff on a wide range of communication issues on a daily basis
Develop and implement communications strategies and stakeholder engagement plans for a range of service initiatives / developments
