NCCP Consultations

From time to time, the NCCP conducts consultations as a method of seeking views on our work.  We believe that public consultation provides an important means by which we can enhance our work through the active involvement and contribution from stakeholders working in cancer care, patients and members of the public. All consultation responses are read and considered by the NCCP staff.

Open Consultations

The Draft NCCPHealth Needs Assessment for Persons Diagnosed with a Cancer-Predisposing Variant of BRCA1 and BRCA2 in Ireland is now available for public consultation. This review is open from the 29th April 2022 until the 1st June 2022. Download the draft by clicking here.

This report aims to outline the needs of those diagnosed with a cancer-predisposing variant of BRCA1 and BRCA2 and to identify areas where such needs are not currently met across cancer care (and other) services in Ireland.

We very much welcome your feedback.   Please complete the feedback form and return to prevention@cancercontrol.ie  by 1st June 2022.
